Baton Explosion Inc., is a non-profit baton twirling club open to girls and boys. We offer twirling classes for the recreational twirler up to the elite competitive twirler.  Our dedicated coaches are fully certified with NCCP - National Coaching Certification Program and our governing sport CBTF - Canadian Baton Twirling Federation. 

Acrobatic Arts Module 1 Certified Teacher is available as well.  Baton Twirling is a fun sport that will keep your child active, form friendships, and learn teamwork skills.  Interested in becoming a baton twirler?

Our mission at Baton Explosion Inc. is to provide a safe and positive learning environment for students of all levels with more than just baton classes, but a unique environment in which students can grow both mentally and physically as twirlers. Our highly trained and skilled instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and techniques.

Recreational Class
(Ages 4 & up)

In this program, the athlete will learn the Skills Development Badge Program focusing on proper baton and body technique.  Each class is an hour long which includes, warm-up, games, basic baton and dance skills.  This recreational session has 10 classes and is available to boys and girls ages 4 and up.

Pre-Competitive Class
(Ages 6 & up)

The Pre-Competitive Level is to introduce the athlete into an easy transition and to the competitive level.  Athletes will learn and may compete in six nationally standardized individual events: Basic March, Forward Motion, Medley, Solo, 2-Baton and Solo Dance Twirl.  This Pre-Competitive Session has 10 classes and is a two hour class.

Competitive Class
(Ages 7 & up)

The Competitive Level is designed for the more serious athlete.  Athletes will learn and compete in individual/duet and team events:  Solo, Medley, Solo Dance, Duet, 2-Baton, 3-Baton, Pairs and Dance Twirl Team.  Athletes must follow the Skills Development Program in order to compete in Compulsories/Freestyle. 

This Competitive Session has 10 classes and 3 hours + is recommended.
